Initial Comment:
Fixed: program freezes on startup
Fixed: firing laser causes segmentation fault
Improved: Added "x" feature
Fixed: Removed "x" feature because it caused program to crash
Changed: Put back "x" feature
Fixed: "x" feature was still causing program crash
Thanks, btu i'll just use the good old descent2 CD from 1996. At least i could get past the first level. |
What did that guy think - "Lemme spam the bug tracker, because in the forum I wouldn't get far"? Doesn't he know I can delete tracker items, too?
It's good he doesn't use D2X-XL. I am always glad if people like that do not show up here.

I'm not sure whether the poster is saying that those particular fixes don't work, or citing them as examples of how you "don't test" and jumping to the conclusion that this means the game is unplayable - probably without even playing it to back that up, as chances are that would demonstrate the assumption to be false...
I suspect the latter, though.

So he thought that Karx's development process was a bug that needed reporting?
Clearly he has never programmed before.
