Error: Unable to read hog file?
I ran into a problem while editing DI. I split the geometry between separate levels and I can load each one by selecting their RL2 files in the hog manager but in the mission tool in DLE-XP I cannot select the other levels in the hog file by clicking on that list of levels, instead it just tells me there is an error reading the hog file.
I ran a diagnostic check on each level and they all seem to be fine. When I click the "get from hog" button it appears the MN2 file is using the correct filenames.
I am not sure what the problem is, all I know is this started happening when I changed the titles (and filename) of each level from the initial "level1, level2, level3" that I gave them to the proper "Asteroid, Canal, Forge, Forest, etc"
Anyone know what might be causing this?

This happened to me as well but the mission still ran fine in game.
I'm looking forward to a version of DI that runs at a playable framerate on my laptop (it has problems with any level bigger than Anthology ).

Thankfully there aren't many of those.

Yea, making levels like DI and Anthology is seriously hard work. Not too many people keen on building mega-levels like them.
I'll check to see if the mission is still playable, maybe I can just ignore the error. It just means I cannot flip between levels as quickly

Please send that mission to my e-mail address so I can check this.

I'll send you an e-mail momentarily. There are some nasty bugs in the current build that I want to clear up first.
NOTE: the mission seems to be able to switch between levels in the game despite not being able to do so in DLE-XP. I had just one occurance of the next level failing to load and giving me that same "error in hog" message when passing through an exit. That has not happened twice however.

I'd still like to look into this DLE-XP issue.
